Exclusive product drops, special sales, and events are just the beginning of what Official League plans to bring to its hometown expansion
Portland-based fanwear brand Official League is expanding its footprint in its hometown with plans to open its first retail store as part of a new headquarters development in Southeast Portland.
The company announced that the new space at 3308 S.E. 50th Ave., Portland, will serve as its headquarters and include office space, a 3,000-square-foot warehouse and the brand’s first-ever retail shop, set to open next month.
Leaders said the expansion marks a major milestone as Official League scales its operations while strengthening its connection to Portland’s creative and sports communities.
“This move is about more than just space, it’s about building a home for the brand and the community around it,” Official League President Alan Miller said in a statement. “We’ve always believed fan apparel should reflect culture, identity and creativity. Now we have a place where people can experience that firsthand.”
The upcoming retail space will double as an event hub, designed to host product drops, community gatherings and collaborations with artists and partners. Merchandise will include apparel tied to Portland-area teams such as the Portland Pickles, Portland Bangers and Portland Cherry Bombs, along with Official League’s broader catalog of licensed sportswear spanning hundreds of teams.
Over the past four years, Official League has grown from a Portland startup into a globally recognized name in fanwear and culture-driven apparel. The company produces licensed merchandise connected to major professional leagues, including Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association and the National Hockey League.
It also collaborates with a wide range of musicians and artists, including Green Day, The Killers, Fall Out Boy, Sleater-Kinney, Portugal. The Man, Wilco, Bootsy Collins, The Head and The Heart, Dinosaur Jr, Bon Iver, TV on the Radio and Mt. Joy.
The retail store is scheduled to open next month, with additional programming and event details to be announced.
